Being a mom is the most beautiful profession in the world and no one can dispute it. But, while it is true that we give our lives for our children, obligations, husband, house, etc., we always forget a key element to feel good: our own well-being and we become a happily exhausted mother.

We spend whole days doing the possible and the impossible so that everyone who belongs to the environment is happy. We play with our baby, we talk with our partner, we cook their favorite dishes, we organize the house, we work to help with expenses and much more.

Mothers give our whole being, without expecting anything in return. However, on the way we tend to forget ourselves

However,  at the end of the day, we find that we devote very little to ourselves except our grooming habits. So that woman who did not go out into the street without first spending hours in front of a mirror getting ready, may no longer exist.

We do not mind having the same earrings for several days, or using the first clothes we find in the closet, or stopping putting on makeup because we have to attend to other needs. Yes, life changes us radically and perhaps it does not look like what you imagined during pregnancy.

Motherhood is one of the most beautiful fairy tales in the world; But, at first, you will realize that you have to sacrifice many things, to see positive fruits in the future.

Happily exhausted mom  is  time reunion

When they ask us how we feel in this role, everything difficult immediately passes through our mind. However, the answer will always be that we are happier than ever. There is nothing more true than that.

In solitude, we think how we could live without those little ones who change our world and fill it with color. A son represents something indescribable, he came to make you understand the things that have a real importance in your life.

Even if you feel like you don’t have the strength, remember that you are your baby’s heroine

Some days may be eternal, nights may be ephemeral and you don’t know what day of the week it is. Tiredness will wrap you up and sometimes you will want to throw in the towel (even if you have the best company in your arms). But, that’s right, a mixture of feelings that we experience and that is perfectly normal.

At first, we are focused on understanding the mystery of parenting and caring for a baby, because even changing a diaper can be an incredible challenge. Then the days go by and you start to wonder: Where are you? Who are you now? How are you inside of yourself?

Surely, you can no longer eat with the same tranquility as yesterday, you cannot go to the bathroom alone, you do not have time to go out with your friends or you cannot even make a phone call without saying: “I’ll call you later because the child needs me.”

This is the reality of a happily exhausted mother: of that woman who gives everything, expecting nothing in return; the one who no longer combs her hair to look good, but always arranges her baby with the most comfortable clothes … That is you, a heroine who will do in other hearts to see the fruit of happiness grow.

Motherhood from another perspective

When we become a mother, our efforts cease to seem in vain. Between your hands is the most beautiful gift and for them you will give your whole life. No one will make you change this reality.

Now, little by little, you should go looking for a space for yourself, where you can reconnect with your essence. You have already experienced a pregnancy process in which you gave yourself up and have discovered what it means to be a mother. Stop for a bit, think about yourself for a second and open a window that allows you to find yourself again.

Find a space for yourself and fill yourself with positive energy, so you will be ready again to give the best of yourself to your family

Doing what we like again is not bad, on the contrary, it will allow you to distract your mind and come back strong. Do an activity that you enjoy, exercise, listen to music or go for a walk with your old friends. It is a good recipe to fill you with good energy.

Motherhood is wonderful and, if you feel tired and you want to put everything aside, do not forget: listen to your heart, remember what you experienced when having it in your womb and get ready to enjoy those moments that will not return. What you should always remember is that it is normal to feel, at times, a happily exhausted mom.
